Session 6 (Breakout Discussions) |

| In this session, group discussions were held on three topics: (i)Equity and Access, (ii)Health systems and quality strengthening and (iii) Moving from inputs to a results culture. Participants were asked to register themselves in these groups, based on their interest. This enabled focused discussion on each of the topics – highlights of the discussion were presented in the valedictory session by each of the groups. |

Dr Kirstan Hawkins and Dr Renu Khosla, both Members of TAST, moderated this group discussion. The group brainstormed on the issues of mechanisms to target the poor and other marginalized sections of the population. download presentation |

The discussions were moderated by Ms Bulbul Bakshi, Dr Karan Singh and Dr J. P Mishra from GTZ. The group discussed on the concerns and issues of strengthening quality at all levels of the health system. download presentation |

Dr Rashmi Kukreja and Billy Steward from DFID were moderators for this group. The discussions were focused on the meaning, need and the issues involved in moving to a results based system for reform programmes. download presentation |
